Today I am continuing the mountain guide but for the over 21 crowd…winery tour! (Sorry my underage viewers, I have some cute back to school post coming soon so keep following!)
When you think of wineries in the U.S. many think of Nape Valley, but there are some amazing vineyards on the East Coast! One such vineyard is Burntshirt Vineyard in Hendersonville North Carolina.
The winery is located in the valley, positioned between apple orchards and grape vineyards.
Can you say picturesque?!
They have a wonderful tasting room, patio and on the weekend they have live music and a food truck! Making it a no brainer for a fun girlfriends weekend! Several weeks ago I met my two besties for a weekend in the mountains.
On Saturday we packed a picnic and headed to Burntshirt. What we loved about their tasting is that they have such an array of wines that there are two complete tasting lists to choose from based on your preferences. I suggest to Rosè. And once you finish your tasting you get to keep your glass as a fun souvenir. My favorite part is the large covered patio that is perfect for a picnic with friends.
