Hello Y'all!
Typing this half asleep but told y'all I would keep you updated on the reno progress. In the last update post, I broke down everything done by day... well the last two weeks are a total blur, so instead, I am going to list everything that has been finished and in process, followed by all the messy pictures we have grown to love.
My small bathroom is finished and ready to decorate! Shiplap went up before Thanksgiving, and we painted the trim, fixed the grout. Thank you, mom, to a very deep clean of the bathtub and toilet situation. Hung the mirror and changed the light and as of today, start hanging hooks and shelving.
The back hall, Jack and Jill hall, guest room, my bedroom, closet, living, and office have been painted a lovely Bistro white. The trim in the guestroom, hallways, and the bedroom has been started.
My closet has been put back together today and ready to fill with all my goodies. Thank you to my Grandma Fran and Grandpa Larry for the perfect piece of furniture to make my closet pretty and functional!
The fireplace in my bedroom has been made over! I will write a blog post about the process later but shout out to my mom for using my stencil to had some flare.
Electrical, electrical, electrical! My dad has changed switches, outlets, ceiling fans, and lights basically daily for the last two weeks. We even have a light in the dark back entrance hall now!!
We still have more trim painting to do and second coats of paint in a couple of places, but we are officially moving to decorate and moving things over this week as we complete each room! Maybe even get a Christmas tree?
