Fall Bucket List

Hello, Y'all!

After a summer of just trying to survive the heat, I am excited to actually go out and do stuff. (I seriously spend 85% of my summer days hiding from the heat.) The cooler temperatures, which haven't happened yet but fingers crosses, bring with it a new energy, and a new desire to actually go out on adventures. This year I decided to officially write down a Fall Bucket List! This list consists of activities I would consider Autumn traditions but also a couple new things to try.

At the top of the list is, going apple picking. There is something about picking an apple right off the branch and "taste testing" that feels so organically childlike. Or it could be the fact that I love to climb the trees to get the very best apples, that makes me feel this way. Every year since I can remember we would go apple picking and then prep a majority of the apples for everything from apple butter to apple pie filling. It just doesn't feel or taste like Fall unless the apples are fresh off the tree.

Another big and silly thing on my Fall Bucket List this year is to find the best Pumpkin Spice Latte...in Birmingham. I had the idea after ordering one form a local coffee shop and realized none of them taste the same! Some taste like a latte with a little syrup, while others taste like pumpkin pie. I decided to take it upon myself to find the best Pumpkin Spice Latte. No worries I plan to blog about the whole experience before the season is up. Oh and I plan to have categories and everything, like the real deal! hahaha

I love the tastes and flavors of Autumn hence the PSL taste testing, but I want to go past the classics and learn a new recipe or two. This could be a dessert or a dinner dish, I haven't figured out what yet but I can tell you my Pinterest boards have plenty of ideas to keep me content. By the way, have you checked out my Pinterest lately? If not click the icon in the top right corner to follow along.

Luckily not all of my bucket list involves eating. I can not wait to get my hands on some DIY projects and share them with all of you! I want to feature a non-carving DIY this year because I know how messy a Jack-O-Lantern can be, plus they really do not last long after cutting. So, watch out for that in the coming weeks! If you are itching for an Autumn craft right now, see the Fall wreath I just shared yesterday!

When it comes to Halloween movies, I love the classic, non-scary, movies. Talking such movies as Hocus Pocus, Halloween Town and don't forget about Harry Potter! Currently watching Halloween Town (you can rent it on Amazon Prime for 2.99$) while finishing this post up. I can remember going tricker treating then coming home for the Halloween Town Disney Special!

Oh, happy Fall! What is on your Fall Bucket List? See the rest of mine below!

Blessings from Birmingham!
