Amen to Amen Street Fish and Raw Bar

Hello y'all!

While in Charleston last month (I know another Charleston related post but sorry not sorry) we went to Madison Mathews of course, where I wore the shirt shown below out of the store because it matched better haha. And headed to lunch!

Every time someone says they are going to Charleston or ask me what my favorite restaurant is, I always say with out hesitation, Amen Street Fish and Raw Bar. Located right on the corner of Cumberland and Bay Street the restaurant is only steps away from Market Street. The restaurant has a quaint feel will exposed brick walls and cozy booths.

But let us talk about the real reason you would go to any restaurant... the FOOD! Everything is wonderful at Amen's from the She Crab soup to the fish tacos. The dishes are cooked to perfection with the best quality seafood. And the oysters!! Oh the oysters! The selection is killer and some of the best oysters on half self I have been so lucky to experience. And Charleston is full of oyster restaurants but trust the Southern'spriations expert when I say they are the best. Along with the amazing food they also have a wonderful cocktail menu (Holy Basil is a family favorite) and great selection of local beers. We love to go for lunch as a great way to refresh and re-energize with happy bellies for the rest of the day.

So the next time you are in Charleston please check them out and it never hurts to make a reservation because the secret about Amen's is out of the bag!

Aren't My parents the cutest???
