Hello Y'all!
Last month I introduced The Charleston Guide, where I will continue to share places to eat, things to go and favorites throughout the city. I am so excited for this next installment in the series and getting to share the beautiful store, Cannonborough Collective. I have been following them on Instagram for months and finally got the chance to visit on Valentine's Day! And lets just say I won't wait so long to visit again because I am in love!
Cannonborough Collective was started in 2017 by the very talented and creative ladies Mimi Striplin (owner of The Tiny Tassel) and Liz Martin (owner of Charleston Weekender). As the only balloon and gift shop downtown Charleston's Peninsula. Y'all, this place is set up like my dream birthday party with big pink balloons, bright decorations, fun neon signs and all the Charleston themed goodies a girl could wish for. I love how they created this open space for other local artisans to feature their goodies. With their curated list of vendors, there is seriously something for everyone, and even the pup isn't left out. Art prints of Charleston? Yup. The cutest tassel earrings? Of course. Perfect towels for a day at the beach? No doubt. They have little gems around every corner. AND this month they expanded into space next door, so there are even more goodies in the Palm Beach themed area. And oh man I wish I lived a little closer because their classes on their event calendar look like a blast.
On this first visit, my mom and I picked out The Tiny Tassel earrings and a little treat for Eloise along with a Crewlala bandana. Other pieces I had my eyes on were the Charleston Weekender bag, the CHS baseball hats, and the Charleston Peninsula prints, basically everything else. I loved getting to meet Mimi and her mom, seriously some of the sweetest people. I left smiling ear to ear.
On your next trip to Charleston whether it is for the day or a week make sure you stop by Cannonborough Collective to pick up the best souvenirs. Or if you're a local make sure to check out their events and order your balloons and supplies for your next party!
