Oh Vienna

Hello Y'all,

I am going to start by saying, wow! A few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to travel to Vienna Austria for ECCMID, the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, with the team for work. Due to the fact it was a work trip I did not have the pleasure of seeing all the sites but I was lucky to squeeze in a couple of walking adventures here and there, so thought I would share with you all the some of the beautiful architecture.

Vienna is such a unique city with its drastic mix of modern architecture and ancient cathedrals, palaces and public buildings. This cityscape gives you a sense of play and fun that I was not expecting . I would highly recommend walking everywhere, maybe without a certain place in mind and see what you find.

I hope to one day go back to Vienna for a leisure trip and enjoy the sites, museums and parks I was able to glance at.

Travel tip: Get Google Maps on your phone and Download the city's map so that when you are not on Wifi or prefer not to have roaming charges you have a map when you need a little help with directions.

Find your Wanderlust,

xoxo
